Imagine you’re out with friends on a Friday night when you realise your wallet’s out of cash. There’s no need to panic.
With a quick jaunt to the Automated Teller Machine (ATM), the problem is easily solved - you’re able to withdraw any amount of cash required.
Yeng Hokvun, who has been using the card for nearly 3 years, says, “I no longer worry about losing cash. It’s really safe,I can withdraw money anytime from the machine.”
Another student, Hukvon, says that even if she forgets her ATM password or loses her card,there’s no fuss.
She just has to get a new card from the bank and reset her password.
One of the biggest advantages is using the card to pay for supermarket groceries. Customers no longer need to carry large amounts of money on them, which is a safer way to commute.
As more ATMs spring up all over Phnom Penh and other provinces, people will experience greater convenience in life.
